Happ Reptile Zoo

On the trail of nature

Reptiles have existed in the world for 300 million years. Their rarest representatives can be found in Austria's largest and most beautiful reptile zoo - the Happ Reptile Zoo. Experience the fascinating world of crocodiles, turtles and snakes. Forget your prejudices and get to know the reptiles as an important part of nature's household. The Happ family will share their many years of experience with snakes from all over the world with you. The aim of the zoo is to educate people to overcome their fear of snakes and break down prejudices.

Over 1,000 animals from different regions of the world await visitors on 3,300 m2: mambas, cobras, rattlesnakes, monitor lizards, iguanas, giant tortoises, native snakes in the large open-air terrariums and a dinosaur garden that is well worth seeing. The rattlesnakes are fed every Sunday in the outdoor enclosure. Find out more, have fun - get close to nature! You can find out more about the breeding program and the various snake species on the website of the Happ Reptile Zoo in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee.
