Nestled between the Alps in the north and the Adriatic Sea in the south, close to the border with Slovenia and Italy, lies Lake Wörthersee in the heart of Carinthia. On the western shore of Lake Wörthersee lies the elegant vacation resort of Velden, from which our house is about 2.5 kilometers away.

Explore the center of Velden with its numerous shopping facilities, restaurants, bars, discos and the casino. Stroll along the lakeside promenade, past Velden Castle and other Wörthersee villas, a famous film set. Velden impresses with its wide range of sports, fun and games and is a popular society and party destination with numerous events. But Velden is also an ideal vacation destination for leisurely vacations with its long tradition as a resort and seaside resort.

How to find us at Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia!

Lake Wörthersee is located in the sunny south of Austria and spoils you with its location in the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia with a pleasant, almost Mediterranean climate.
Lake Wörthersee lies 450 meters above sea level, nestled in a magnificent panorama of green meadows and high mountain peaks.
With a length of 17 km, a width of up to 1,600 m and a depth of up to 86 m, Lake Wörthersee is the largest lake in Carinthia. Bathing temperatures reach up to 27°C in summer and the water is of drinking water quality.

Arrival by car:

Velden Bay is located at the western end of Lake Wörthersee. You can reach it quickly and easily from all directions via the A2 south highway. Once you arrive in Velden, drive approx. 2.5 km on the Wörthersee Süduferstraße in the direction of Klagenfurt until you reach the village of Auen. And there you are, just after the first houses you will find our hotel on your left, directly on the shore of Lake Wörthersee.

We offer you two charging stations for a fee, which reliably supply your electric car with sufficient energy - for a relaxed departure and spontaneous excursions in between.
