On the tracks of nature

Reptilienzoo Happ

There have been reptiles in the world for 300 million years. You will find their rarest representatives in Austria's largest and most beautiful reptile zoo - the Reptilienzoo Happ. Experience the fascinating world of crocodiles, turtles, and snakes. Forget your prejudices and get to know reptiles as an important part of nature's household. The Happ family demonstrates their many years of experience in dealing with snakes from all over the world. The aim of the zoo is to take away the fear of snakes through education and eliminate prejudices.

Awaiting visitors on 3,300 m2 are over 1,000 animals from different regions of the world: mambas, cobras, rattlesnakes, monitor lizards, iguanas, giant tortoises, and local snakes in large outdoor terrariums, and there is an interesting dinosaur garden. The rattlesnakes are fed every Sunday in the outdoor enclosure. Learn interesting information, have fun, and enjoy pure nature! You can find out more about the breeding program and the various snake species on the website of the Reptilienzoo Happ in Klagenfurt on the Wörthersee.
