Before Roman times, this place was the center of the southern Alpine region and was characterized by a lively social life. Visitors can experience the pre-Christian world of gods as well as the magnificence and glory of handcrafted craftsmanship. In the village of Frög, you will find the answer to the question of where we come from. Reconstructed finds and artifacts show that the world functioned similarly back then as it does today. The burial mounds here are authentic sites and with newly added signposts, they are the main attraction on the premises. Burial mound 120, which serves as an exhibition mound, is a highlight of the experience. Points of mystification on the vast premises are not set arbitrarily but are determined by geomancers. In the arena, the world is shown as a disc - the world view of the Greek Hecataeus, who lived 550 B.C. In combination with original finds, boards and models near the burial grounds allow the world of that time to be reborn.
