Lake Wörthersee is located in the sunny south of Austria, at the place where the three countries – Austria, Italy and Slovenia – meet and spoil you with a pleasant, almost Mediterranean climate.
Lake Wörthersee lies at 450 m above sea level, embedded in a wonderful panorama of green meadows and high mountain peaks.
17 km long, up to 1,600 m wide and up to 86 m deep: Lake Wörthersee is the largest lake in Carinthia. In summer, this recreational lake of drinking water quality reaches temperatures of up to 27°C.

Velden bay lies at the western end of Lake Wörthersee. It is easily and quickly accessible from all directions via the A2 motorway.

Having arrived in Velden, continue for approx. 2.5 km on the road along the southern shore of the lake (Wörthersee –Süduferstrasse) in the direction of Klagenfurt as far as the village of Auen. And here we are: right after the first houses you will see our hotel on the left-hand side, directly on the shores of Lake Wörthersee.
